Our Story
THE HEART BEHIND THE HUM
Rosendale, New York — the Hudson Valley
A HOME KEPT WITH LOVE
Humming Heart Homestead is our family — Mom's recipes, blends, and hands on every pour; Dad on harvest and shipping duty; and Jack and Georgia Rose, our two littlest helpers, underfoot in the garden. It started small: herbs drying above the kitchen sink, wax melting on the stove, jars lined up along the windowsill. It has grown a little since then. It still feels exactly that way.
THE GARDEN SETS THE PACE
Much of what goes into our teas and soaks grows a few steps from the back door — tulsi, calendula, lemon balm, roses — and what we can't grow ourselves, we source with care. We harvest, dry, blend, and pour in small batches, in waves, as the seasons allow. Some things sell out. Some things aren't ready yet. That's the honest rhythm of a real garden, and we've stopped apologizing for it.
FOR THE QUIET HOURS
We believe ordinary moments deserve to be kept well — a candle lit at dusk, a slow cup of tea after the children are asleep, a warm bath at the end of a long week. Everything we make is made for those hours: to help a home grow a little more still, a little more warm, a little more loved.
GROWN — in our garden, or sourced with care · GATHERED — harvested and dried by hand · POURED — in small batches, made in waves · KEPT — for homes kept with love
